Please read on if you feel that the case does not stand up correctly. The PU Leather material needs some time to break in. Once it breaks in, the platform that touches the table will lay flat and will have enough support for it to stand up stably. To speed up the process, you can try to push it a little bit down to make sure the entire platform touches the table. In a day or two, it will become a stable stand naturally.

This is a great case for what I paid for it and it has gone down in price. Has a simple sleeve the Fire slides into from the binder side where the cover folds and then is held in with a secure flap that folds over the edge of the Fire and is tucked in. The sleeve doesn't interfere in any way with the few controls and they can be reached easily. Supports the Fire comfortably in landscape at either a steep or flat angle depending on which way you turn the case. It is simple, inexpensive and works.

It is sturdy and does the job well. Only issue is, holding it for long periods is uncomfortable because of the hard edges. I think this is great for on the go but I will find a soft one for around the house.

One of the things I find important in purchasing items is how well the company will work with you if something is wrong. I received a defective case. The magnets weren't working properly. I emailed the business at night and within 10 minutes I had an email back. After checking a couple of things and finding it was defective, they said they would replace it. My problem was solved within half an hour. That is almost unheard of today. They shipped the new one out the very next day. What a great business to purchase from!
Now onto the actual case. I am very happy with my purchase. The case fits like a glove. Be sure to read the note that they post. When you receive it, you have to work with it and bend it a little to make it flexible so that it will stand up. It has all the openings you need. None of the screen is covered up. You can't go wrong with this cover.
Once again, good product and great company to do business with. You won't be disappointed !

the Elsse ® Premium Folio Case looked like a nice case and the price was great but in the end, on flat surfaces it wouldn't stay up the suppose magnet sucked as well.. So I went with a roocase it works fantastic and it can be put up either way.

The case holds the kindle snug and all of the screen is accessible. However that is the only good feature of this case. The cover is flimsy and there is no magnet or latch to keep it closed. The case is supposed to be convertible into a hande free stand for viewing. But because of the flimsiness of the outer cover, it does not stay in the stand position and the kindle will topple over. Additionally there is no good spot to clip on a stylus.

This was probably the most inexpensive cover I could find for the Fire but I have found with Kindle covers, cheap can be perfect and more expensive a total waste. I plan to use my Fire mostly for the media/instant video. I'm sticking with my Kindle Keyboard for reading so this cover is perfect for stand function alone.
I am subtracting 1 star for one reason which is the cover panel for the face. Although it magnetically covers the device, it is pretty flimsy. My other Kindle has landed on carpet in a different cover with a latch and it was protected. I'm not sure this cover will function much more than a stand for viewing and a cover to keep away screen scratches unless it lands on the backside which is pretty thick. Otherwise, it works great. I definitely recommend this product with that single reservation.

I bought this case for me and my boyfriend and we are both satisfied with the product. It's not the same as a high quality leather case but I must say it holds up pretty well. I've had this for well over 3 months and save for some rubber edging peel, it has maintained its structural integrity and is a great case.
The only downside for me is the fold up stand. For me, the base of the stand is a too vertically situated to watch a movie comfortably without getting a glare on the screen. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this product for any college aged (and budgeted) Kindle Fire lover.

Pretty Good
