This is an absolutely amazing performance by the Legend Elton John. This Blu-ray disc looks unbelievable and the sound could not be better. I am providing the track list of this movie, since Amazon does not have it. This Blu-ray disc contains the COMPLETE show, which is 33 songs total. Thanks for reading and enjoy!

I owned the DVD package of this originally, knowing someday I'd upgrade to Blu-Ray. Well my musician neighbor and pal had a birthday the other day and I offered him my DVD. Showed him all the amazing cool archival extras. Then I went home and upgraded to Blu-Ray --

-- and LOST ALL THOSE AMAZING COOL ARCHIVAL EXTRAS. Note how Amazon slyly doesn't offer a track listing of the Blu-Ray but only on the DVD. Sure, you gain about 7 or so songs from the concert but you lose ALL THE AMAZINGLY COOL ARCHIVAL EXTRAS.

This is just awful. I thought the 'big deal' of Blu-Ray is that the capacity was ginormous. Okay, fine, and so WHERE THE HELL ARE THE EXTRAS? Now I have to buy the DVD AGAIN? Cheese Louise...

For those wondering if the Blu-Ray is worth keeping, yes, the quality is noticeably sharper. Razor sharp. Although there is a curious concert wide blur over Elton when they show him from the cheap seats. And the added tracks to the concert are an added treat.

But believe you me: I'm PISSED.

Having the DVD is actually better than the Blu-Ray if you want more for your money. I bought this as the DVD last year, and what I loved most about it was the vintage videos from the seventies of Elton John playing his hits before they were even released. There are some wonderful videos here, including his extensive show off performance of "Bennie and the Jets" from the Night and Day concert at Wembley in 1984. Plus he has some additional videos of his songs that reflect his love for New York City, including his tribute to his friend John Lennon.

Well, this Blu-Ray version just gives you his concert from 2007, which is pretty decent. I'd personally rather have his "One Night Only" concert remastered in High Definition because he seemed a lot more energetic at the time, plus he had many famous guests appear on the stage with him. But anyway, the DVD release of this concert is a two disc set which gives you an additional two hours of vintage Elton John material. Part One called "Live, Rare, and Unseen", and Part Two called "Elton's New York Stories". Both which are wonderful to watch. So, I guess I'll have to keep them both. How's that for them making sure this Elton 60 DVD doesn't quickly end up in the used DVD rack?

THE VIDEO QUALITY IS SUPERB YOU CAN SEE THE HAIRS ON HIS KNUCKLES AS HE PLAYS I JUST LONG FOR THE OLD ELTON'S VOICE.HE DOESN'T REALLY SING THE SONG LIKE THEY'RE HIS AND HE LOST ALOT OF RANGE. I'M A LONG TIME FAN AND CAN REMEMBER WHEN HE SANG LIKE HE CARED.LIKE THE SONG WAS PART OF HIM. I EVEN PURCHASED THE BOX SET THAT HAS THE STANDARD DEF VIDEO BECAUSE OF THE RARITIES VIDEOS, FROM THE SEVENTIES.THE VIDEO QUALITY STNKS BUT THE CONTENT IS SPECTACULAR.CHECK IT OUT HE SHOULD RELEASE MORE OLD STUFF.HE WAS REALLY THE BEST IN THE 70'S.

I am not a big Elton fan, although I have enjoyed some of his music over the years. I am very much into blu-ray high def and love the dazzling sights and sounds of this technology. I recently came across this disc and knew I wanted to see it. My wife, who is a much bigger fan of Elton John than I am, immediately wanted to purchase this. I was not at all disappointed by this concert, and in fact, I must say, that it gave incredible new life to songs that are many years old. The concert was long, over three hours, but it actually was an incredible amount of fun to see and hear. The music itself was varied and fantastic. The high def picture and sound of this blu ray edition was nothing short of amazing. I watched it on an LG BH200 hi def player, which is connected to a Toshiba 42 in 1080p LCD television. My wife and I were both blown away by the dazzling crisp, clear, razor-sharp images of the video and the 5.1 DD surround sound. I could not be happier with the performance and it is certainly the next best thing to being at this concert in person. Happy 60th birthday Elton and THANK YOU for a most enjoyable concert!
