I am the self proclaimed king of ELTON fans and I have this film on vhs and laser disc. This dvd I was afraid to purchase because it was from latin america so that is what the ad stated it is however made in mexico; in any case I purchased cds and dvds from mexico and brazil before and got nothing but poor quality. I wanted a dvd from this title for a long time but all there was were region 2 japan and region 2 european pal formats. I decided to take a chance and purchased this dvd and I am so happy I did this version as far as dvd resolution is tops the picture is clean with solid blacks, the dolby 2 chanel is also great this dvd is clearly from a master print the same one used for the japanese and european releases. The king is very pleased indeed.
