Bought this for my wife, a huge Elton fan. She says it's "a wonderful book, great pictures and copy. Mainly historical, which is great." She said paper is nice and glossy and thick, of very high quality. The brand new paper pages did stick together when the pages were first turned as one reviewer notes. It did not tear, however, and was of markedly high quality. My wife intends to buy another copy of this book immediately as a present for her brother (another huge Elton fan). Amazon has a very good price on this item, by the way.

A Must For The Serious Elton Fan!,
This review is from: Eltonography (Hardcover)
This book is awesome. It primarily covers Elton from the early 70s, through is heyday in the mid-70s, and also goes into the 80s. Most of the photos have never been published before, so it's a real treat to step back in time. One reviewer said that his pages stuck together and that the pages tore. I did not have that experience at all. My book was in great shape.

This excellent book has no mistake!!! Are pages sticked? YES. For the first time when You are watching them one by one. It is because of used "parcial UV lacquer". This is polygraphical method to make printed photos very glossy and You think the phography is real (not just as printed part of paper page). After the first watching page by page the pages will have no sticker effect anymore. Also there will be no deffects on the paper or pages.I've marked with 5 stars. Not at least - In comparsion PRICE vs Quality this book is worth by 10 stars.
