Cover is pretty but book seems to brotha bash. Brotha's are low rated and it appears the author got played at her own game.

4.0 out of 5 stars Reflection, December 9, 2002

With style and uniqueness, Pamela Gayle Jarmon has written a great selection of contemporary poetry in her book "Elusive Ink Rx Poetry."
Ms. Jarmon's words seem to flow through you with a classy reflection
that helps you visualize what her poems are revealing to the reader.

From her one line sentence that said so much to her paragraphs of
self explorations on relationships, friendships, life, and death,
each selection holds your attention and makes you think. I enjoyed all
of her poems, but three of my favorites were "Sweet Hopes,"
"Bronwynization," and "Love Unique."

Ms. Jarmon's poetry is written in a style that can be read over and over again, because
each time will bring understanding, a certain amount of
closure and a vintage of reflecting on your day to day interaction
with life.

Elusive Ink Rx Poetry by Pamela Gayle Jarmon is a must read for the
poetry lovers.

5.0 out of 5 stars One's life verbalized through poetry-Excellent!, September 17, 2002

Rx Poetry is a wonderful book of poetry that allows you to share a wide range of emotions with author Pamela Jarmon. Her ginuwine style comes through in every poem, and that is what poetry is about. Many will be able to read and relate to the emotional highs and lows, and that in itself gives word to the reader that they are not alone. I loved it from cover to cover! A great addition to any poetry collection.

5.0 out of 5 stars Positive Message In The Poetry., September 11, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Elusive Ink Rx Poetry (Paperback)
A seasoned reader of poetry will appreciate the simplistic skill that Rx Poetry uses to illustrate the poems. The Haiku section will be confusing to someone who is not familiar with the definition of haiku or has never taken creative writing coures. A seasoned reader should realize that everything an Author brings to a book is not all about themselves. Authors present literture from various crafted angles as to protect privacy or shed light on an issue by selected means deemed applicable to the style of work. Sometimes fact is presented as fiction...sometimes fiction seems like fact, but it's real life and a form of entertainment. Overall this book is inspirational and a quick read. Player-haters who must be jealous of the Author should get a life.

1.0 out of 5 stars Where's the Hype?, September 1, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Elusive Ink Rx Poetry (Paperback)
This book of so called poetry sounds quite ghettoish. Except for the words being different, it appears to be using the same format as that of Kupenda. Sounds quite personal, as if author is working through personal life issues. Needs a lot of work. Hard to understand some of its contents. Author needs more writing skills. This is by far the worst of black poetry that I have read.
