It was cheaper quality than I expected. Its just a pin back, not a real brooch. The "looping" metal design isnt real, its just one peice of metal hammered out in that shape. Oh well, I guess its only worth what they charge. If you want a real brooch from the LOTR it runs around 45 and up depending on the metal used.

I recieved my elven brooch today and the only thing that bothered me was that some of the green paint used on the leaf was on the silver bits that are not supposed to be green. The silver parts also were a bit thick and are tying into each other where they are not supposed to. I still love it but, since this is a review, I must speak the absolute truth. I ordered mine from Halloween Costumes 4 All, for $4.00, for reader's reference. It came quickly and I love it, but only had a few problems with it in general.

These pins are durable and when worn look like the expensive sterling silver versions. So you can have the look without the expense or weight of the costly sterling sivler version and this one won't tarnish to black so easily.
Even if you have the expensive version, you can use this one for cosplay fun without the risk of loss. the clasp is very durable and this will hold you cloak on firmly.
best of all, you can afford to buy this version for all your friends, as it is so attractive it makes a nice gift.

i was expecting to be disappointed with this product. i read several reviews for identical pins and none of them seemed that great. it kind of seemed like a lot of money to spend for a flimsy plastic pin, but i was quite surprised when i opened it and saw the size of it and that it was made of metal. i haven't worn it yet so i don't really know how durable it will be, but i have faith that it will be just fine! its metal and it seems sturdy. definitely recommend to those ballers on a budget like myself.

My daughter bought this as she is in love with all things Arwen. It is a nice size for a clasp to close her elven cloak. It is a good weight. It doesn't look cheap.

The overall quality is good, especially for the price of $4. My biggest issue is that it pins the wrong way. The clasp is set so the leaf is facing down when pinned together, not sideways like it is in the film. Other than that, it's great.

A rather cheap imitation of the elven brooch worn by the Fellowship, but good enough for a Halloween costume. Please be aware that although it is called a "clasp," it's really an aluminum (?) pin. Arrived well before the Halloween party in question with the 3-5 day shipping (took 3 days).

It's perfect for the price, and not too heavy that it will weigh down the thin items I am using this for. Perfect shipping.

I didn't expect it to come broken!
