About the Author
Mack Loyd Wadkins, a graduate of the University of Mississippi, is a businessman, songwriter, publisher and author. He says that his mother's love of reading and writing poetry along with his four granddaughters' love of music inspired him to write "Elvie the Elf," his first children's book. Mr. Wadkins, a former Mississippi legislator, now lives with his wife, Jeanette, in Iuka, a small town in northeastern Mississippi.

Elvie the Elf,

This is a wonderful Christmas story about Santa's special elf, Elvie, who helped save Christmas. A small,clumsey elf saves Christmas after Santa gets stuck in a chimney. A great Christmas story for children ages 2-8. Like Rudolph, Elvie is another Christmas hero. I highly recommend this book!
