This DVD is a basic presentation of Elvis' excellent 1973 Hawaiian concert TV special, which was broadcast worldwide. If you want an in-depth presentation, you should get the 2 DVD Deluxe edition. This DVD includes the footage of the original show including post-concert performances of 5 songs recorded for the US TV show. Elvis' performances are outstanding and this is one of his best live concerts of the 70's. The performance may seem simple by today's mega-star standards, there are no background dancers or pyrotechnic displays, and Elvis does not jump around the stage like he did in his younger days (of course he doesn't lip-sync to pre-recorded tracks like some of today's stars do), but it was top of the line for 1973. In 1973 few stars put on "stage shows" for their concerts. For the most part they just got on stage and sung their songs, and Elvis does a great job at that. This is proof that Elvis was still at the top of his art in 1973! The bonus material includes some photos but really does not add much to the set. This DVD should be enough for the casual fan and it is available at a reasonable price. Hardcore fans will want the deluxe edition.

This is the "King" at his very best. At the hieght of his career for looks, stage presence and voice. This is his best live show ever. Well filmed and produce. It showcases his vocal range and inimitable style.

I saw the special when on TV and also the Show when he came to my town and it is the same special and show I show. Shows Elvis at his best. Geat music.

This is the best concert Elvis had. I have seen it many,many times and never get tired of it. I believe it will become a classic and I am glad to have it in my collection.

What else can be said? Elvis was, is and always will be the King of Entertainment. If anyone has any doubt of that, watch this video.

This DVD is Elvis at his best. Saw Elvis in person in 1972 and it's just like being there. If six srar rating were provided I'd give it just that.

I am a huge Elvis fan so no matter what the product, if he's on it, I will LOVE it!!

This is a great concert dvd by Elvis, recorded on January 14, 1973. It consists of 23 songs, with 5 more "bonus" songs. You get all this classic hits up until this point in time. This dvd really showcases the excellent entertainer, that Elvis was. He puts on quite a show.

This concert dvd contains the entire concert that Elvis performed on January 14, 1973, plus you get 5 more bonus songs. This is Elvis & his TCB (Taking Care of Business) Band at their best. If you like Elvis, you'll love this one. I highly recommend it. Thanks, thanks very much!!!

Excellent concert of Elvis, every time I put on this DVD I am having really great time !

Saw this when it was broadcast years ago and it still is one of The King's best performances. My wife and I are both Elvis fans and truly believe any fan needs this dvd. This is a one of a kind concert that unfortunately can never be repeated. Do yourself a favor and add this to your Elvis collection!
