I like Don Johnson pretty much in all of his roles but not this one. This a TV movie and the vocals are provided by a Elvis imitator which are not bad. Johnson looks pretty riduculous in this role--his wig and sideburns are just bad-he is too small for the role--Elvis was a lot taller than Johnson--it doesn't seem real. The script is terrible. You just have to laugh at this one--it is so bad., Definitely for collectors only. The only good part is Stephenie Zimbulast who plays the Beauty Queen. I have never seen her look so good. She is a pleasure to watch and her acting ain't bad--definitely worth watching the movie for. Otherwise forget it!!!!!!

First of all... I agree with the other review, this project does not protray Elvis in a good way.. I understnd Elvis had problems. but he was human. Elvis was very generous, very religious, and he had feelings to.. Its sad that 31 years later many are still trying to generate revenue from his legacy. Even his bodyguards wrote a tell all book which hurt Elvis and he worried about it for a long time. Put yourself in Elvis shoes, Dont watch this movie, because if your a Elvis fan it will hurt you. I wonder how Lisa and Priscilla feel about it.

While some people maybe upset this movie shows Elvis exactly how he was. He was a womanizer who had a drug problem. But I agree don't focus on the man's faults he was human like everyone else. He just happened to be a cad like most men who are celebrities out there.
