This is an excellent collection of Elvis' post-Army hits from 1960 to 1962! Released in 1963, it was a big hit in the US climbing to number 3 on the album chart and eventually being certified PLATINUM by the RIAA! It includes five songs that hit number 1 on the US singles chart (It's Now Or Never, Stuck On You, Surrender, Are You Lonesome Tonight?, and Good Luck Charm) and four others that made the top 5 (I Feel So Bad, (Marie's The Name Of) His Latest Flame, Little Sister, and She's Not You). The rest were also top 40 hits. Not a bad song in the bunch! However, I wish they had included some bonus tracks, there is plenty of room left on this CD.

Elvis 3rd volume in his Gold Record series, and one of the best. It's a big improvent over 50,000,000 Elvis Fans Can't Be Wrong: Elvis' Golden Records, Vol. 2(I consider it the weakest in the series).It does not content any songs from his movies, which is good.This compilation is full of hits from beginning to end with few # 1's and and top tens.My personal (all time) favorite is Anything That is Part of You. What a song! If this song was released as a single, it could easily had reached the number spot.It makes me feel so sad and hopeless. I just cry each time I listen to it. I can't help it. Elvis really gave all his emotions and heart into this great song, and you can feel the pain he is going thru in about only two minutes.

Great CD that is worth buying. Shame on you if you don't own it already.
