A strong set, but since supserseded, March 5, 2008

This is an excellent collection of Elvis' post-Army hits from 1960 to 1962! Released in 1963, it was a big hit in the US climbing to number 3 on the album chart and eventually being certified PLATINUM by the RIAA! It includes five songs that hit number 1 on the US singles chart (It's Now Or Never, Stuck On You, Surrender, Are You Lonesome Tonight?, and Good Luck Charm) and four others that made the top 5 (I Feel So Bad, (Marie's The Name Of) His Latest Flame, Little Sister, and She's Not You). The rest were also top 40 hits. Not a bad song in the bunch!
While this was a great release in its day, it has since been superseded. There are better greatest hits collections available now, such as the outstanding Elv1s: 30 #1 Hits, 2nd to None, or the 3 CD HitStory collection.
