I just got this book directly form Jeanne yesterday. It looks even better than the black & white version with many more photos. Worth buying if you want to read non gossipy, sweet, true stories about Elvis.

Elvis, Linda, & Me,
This review is from: Elvis, Linda & Me: Unseen Pictures & Untold Stories from Graceland (Paperback)
This book is an auto-biographical account of the author's encounter and friendship with Elvis Presley. Due to her friendship with Linda Thompson, she meets and eventually works for Elvis. She recaps, in small vinettes, episodes with Elvis, Vernon, and Linda. It offers some insights into several outstanding periods in Elvis' careers during the 1970's. While mentioning some of Elvis' problems, she focuses primarily on his generosity and talents. It's a good book and easily read in a couple of hours. It is definitely worth having if you're an Elvis fan.

This is a new angle into an eye witness in Elvis's life. Jeanne Lemay was Elvis's girlfriend's friend who managed to get a job as secretary to Elvis's father. There are some nice pics of the inside of Graceland that I had never seen before reading this book. It's worth checking out as paperback.

I THOUGHT IT WAS A VERY GOOD READ. I FOUND IT TO BE VERY INFORMATIVE, FUNNY AND SAD. I LIKE ANYTHING ABOUT THE LIFE OF ELVIS

I purchased this book with the understanding that it contained pictures of Elvis's bedroom and such- which it did. However, the pictures were all black and white and frankly, looked liked they had been touched up in some places. The quality of them was nothing to note. The book itself is an OK read thus far. Her account of Elvis and Graceland is very personal and while reading it you can get a sense of what it might have been like at the exact moment when she met Elvis. Although, I do think that her writing style is a bit repetitive. My overall impression of this book is that it's a decent look into Elvis Presely's later time in life but I'm still a fan of Pricilla!

If you are an Elvis fanatic and a female, u'll love this book! Anyone who knows anything about Elvis would obviously know about Linda Thompson. I personally like to know what it was like for each of the women in his lives to have been with him although my favorite is Priscilla (as I believe was his) and I'm interested in anything written about her.
