This is where it all started,the precursor to Rock 'n roll, the sound Elvis,Scotty & Bill created & the vehicle which Elvis used to become the King.The brilliance of this music style & the energy & feeling in these recordings combined with Elvis' magical voice & sexuality take on something one can only experience.For Elvis beginners this is essential in understanding his transformation & for Rockabillies it is vital.Although most of the tracks are scattered on different albums, it is worth having them on one comprehensive album.In addition there are alternate takes of "lawdy Ms Clawdy," Shake Rattle & Roll & a refreshing live medley of "Mystery Train" & Tiger Man"The c.d package is also very well compiled with an excellent narration & a rare shot of Elvis on the cover.Buy the c.d
