The soundtrack of his comeback special, March 11, 2008

This was the soundtrack from Elvis' highly rated 1968 TV special, also known as his "comeback special". Released in 1968 soon after the broadcast of the TV show, the album reached number 8 on the US album chart and number 2 in the UK. The album would eventually be certified PLATINUM by the RIAA. It was Elvis' first top 10 album in the US since 1965's Harum Scarum movie soundtrack album. It includes many strong performances of some of his early hits and then new songs. It ends with an outstanding performance of If I Can Dream. An excellent CD!
