5.0 out of 5 stars This book does the work for you! December 15, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
Sharron Senter does all the work for those of us who struggle to come up with catchy titles to market our emails, newsletters, products and services. I can write copy in short order, but coming up with a clever title is where I spend the most time. I won't have to from now on. Whatever the season or event, I will simply refer to Sharron's book for a great title. In fact, I am going to use one right now for my weekly newsletter.

This ebook is great, Sharron Senter makes marketing a breeze with her helpful phrases and wording. The material she offers in the book are mainly for email and website marketing, but can be easily used for a postcard mail out or within the store marketing as well. Love her work!

More About the Author

On a personal note, I've lived north of Boston all my life, minus a brief two-year stint in Denver. I have a heavy Boston accent. I like it. My speech makes me different. But not everyone agrees. A former associate once told me that my accent wasn't very posh, that I should fix it or my career would be abridged. Now years later, I'm happy to say I've remained true to my roots, and am doing well professionally.

I'm a realist at heart. My parents, Steve and Jean, former maintenance supervisor and emergency room administrative assistant, respectively, taught me the art of hard work and respect. My mother taught me how to be strong, to endure. I teach these qualities to my children, Abby and Max.

Professionally, I've been spearheading the marketing and advertising for past employers, and now small business clients, for more than 17 years. My first marketing & PR job was working for the second largest Midas Muffler franchise. I was hired to promote their New Hampshire shops. It wasn't the most fashionable place to work, but I met some of the kindest people I know. I also learned the most important lesson of my career while there -- never let anyone berate you. I never have since. The story goes like this ... I was in my early twenties, new to the "professional" workforce and a grouchy, much older manager tore into me for a reason I can't recall. I cried. (Thank goodness it was after I hung up the phone.) In today's standards this person is called a bully. I have a zero tolerance of such cretins. I now squash people like this and come to the aide of others, and sometimes I even wear my cape.

I love writing. It's natural for me to write about marketing strategies and how to grow revenue because I've been working in the marketing profession for so long. I've tried hundreds of different advertising vehicles over the years and know which ones work, and, more importantly, which ones don't. Still, my writing passion goes beyond marketing. I've written a short piece on relationships that I ponder publishing. I find the dynamic between men and women quite fascinating.
