Great book if your sense of humor is a little warped.

I didn't know about the website before picking this book up (I read the entire site after finishing the book) and from what I saw the book was about 60% new.

This book is amazing. To everyone who says you can get all this for free on the website: did you even read the book? Or buy it for that matter? I am a huge fan of the site, I check it every day, and I bought this book hoping for new material. I was not let down. There are so many new ones - it is great. Since he only updates his site like once a week, getting like 40 new emails I have never read was a huge treat. My new favorites are the one where he gets some moron to call like five different Pizza Huts, and the one where he is a Vietnam Veteran trying to tell war stories to five year olds. This book is absolutely hilarious. Sure, there are some emails that are on the site already, but he adds commentary and stories to them. Also, some of them are even longer than I remember them being. This book is pure hilarity. A great gift for anyone who isn't easily offended.

My 22 year old son told me about some of John Lindsay's antics when we were shopping one day. It was a story about his response to a guy looking for "concealed weapons." I laughed so hard just listening to my son describe it that he pulled up the whole story on the internet for me when we got home.

That night I spent too long going through other internet stories. Yes, some of them are beyond my comfort zone and I tried to skip those ones, but others were so hysterical I was afraid my husband or kids would think I was having a heart attack. That's when I learned Lindsay had a book out and - I just had to check it out.

I told my husband I would dog-ear the really funny stories and just counted about 25 dog-ears, so there are many pages in the book that totally cracked me up.

A fun read, but realize you will see a great many "MF's" and other obscene words and some topics. Not for the faint of heart and sometimes too crude for me, but if you appreciate laughing a lot, it's probably good medicine.

Hope this helps someone!

I can't really give this book a 5 stars rating because a number of the pranks countainted within are already available on the website. However, I was far from disappointed with the exclusive pranks. I thought the author would just add those that where not funny enough for the website but boy was I wrong. I had my share of guilty laughs while reading them.

I'm not sure if the author deserves to sell more copies but morality aside, this book is a great read!

Won't rehash what other reviews say except that I finished this book in one sitting- it was that good. Wish it were longer.

If you're a fan of the site, don't worry about having seen everything here already. There's plenty of new content. The only catch is, it's just not that great. There are plenty of chuckles to be had with the new material, but whenever I found myself really laughing, it was at one of the pieces on the site.
