I am pretty amazed at how good this CD is - especially considering I have not heard much about the band. Each song is very unique and demonostrates that this band is very diverse. The lyrics are powerful and relevant. Can't wait for the opportunity to purchase another CD from Modern Day John!

Even after all these years (I got this cd soon after it came out in 2003) I still absolutely love this cd. Its a great mix of heavy rock songs with some screaming (Sigh and Breathe, Emanate, and a little in Distain), and some softer songs that are just great rock songs (Incomplete and Autumn). It really is a shame that these guys broke up, they would have been an INCREDIBLE Christian rock band if they had hung around at least for a few more albums. If you're looking for some great Christian rock...look no further, you will not be disappointed.

A few months ago a friend of mine told me that his brother's band had released a CD but I didn't think of it as anything big because I had never heard them before. Then some time later we were riding in his car when I heard this CD playing but I didn't know who it was and I asked him who the band playing was. He told me and I had him buy a copy from his brother. I listened to it and it is just an amazing CD. Track 2 is without a doubt one of the best songs I have ever heard.

I've only heard two songs from this disc, but what I have heard is plain awesome. If you like Breaking Benjamin, or Linkin Park you should like this. The songs rock with solid, crunchy guitars, and you can feel the words as he sings. The drums fit really well with the music. "Sigh and Breath" is the best song I heard. Definitely a good listen. I can't wait until they put something out besides an EP.

I saw modern day john live in October, but was too broke to buy the cd. After searching for about 2 months, I finally found it and was able to buy it. It was worth the wait! This is a great cd. Good vocals, great guitars, just awesome. If you have the chance to see them live, go for it. They're great! Only thing I didn't like is only 5 tracks. We want more modern day john!
