I'm a huge fan of Emanuel's Law Outlines and especially the contracts title.
C. Auster
Sure, it's extra reading, but well worth it when the professor calls on you in class, and you kick butt because you have a thorough understanding of the material.
Montoni
It was really easy to use--I was also able to access it on my computer, but the Kindle iPad app was easier.

I have found throughout my first year of Law School that the Emanuel Law Outlines are probably the more complete texts of the subject, Contracts. There are questions, answers and explanations of the answers. An answer doesn't help me unless I know why and this book covers the information thoroughly.

Didn't pay attention all semester until the last 2 weeks before the exam, used this to make my outline and learn everything myself and got an A. Could not have done it without this.

This provides great supplementation along with using your casebook. I have used it when my hornbook or casebook leave me clueless still on certain concepts, etc. It also it extremely useful for not forgetting important information for my outline. If "K" is a confusing concept for you, then this is a "must have" for you.

If you hate reading 5-10 pages of a case brief in order to get one rule of law, this book is for you! I'm the type of person who just needs the facts, so when I'm reading a case brief all I'm thinking is, "get to the point!" or "how many words are you going to use in order to tell me that it had to be a material breach?" If that is you, or if you are having problems understanding the point of the case brief and how it fits into the big picture, trust me this book is for you. I've tried several others and they don't compare. BTW these books are set up to mirror (keyed) your case books so make sure you get the right one.

The outline was very thorough. It has enough detail that I discovered that I had missed some important thoughts on many issues. I later would incorporate them into my outline. I'm glad I bought the entire series on Emanuel's outlines: Criminal Law, Contracts, & Torts. This outline should be mandatory reading. It has helped me out immensely!

I'm a huge fan of Emanuel's Law Outlines and especially the contracts title. Contracts is one of the thorniest subjects in law school and can easily become confusing. I love that this product can be a full semester study aid, the Capsule Summary provides a quick references, the detailed outline gives you all the key information you need to know, the Quiz Yourself feature allows you to make sure you understand things as you progress through the semester and the the Exam Questions & Answers are great for an end of the semester review. The casebook correlation chart is very helpful to ensure you are following along with your class assignments because not all text books go in the same order.

I additionally recommend the Emanuel's Crunch Time for Contracts (now available on Kindle and Mobile) to ensure you get the most out of contracts and beat the curve!

Its long but doesn't really say much. It will explain a general topic but that's about it. I hope as I use it more, there is some progress.

I used this for my contracts class (obviously) and have Gilberts for Torts. Personally, I like the format of this Emanuel outline far better. For me, the layout is better, the content is easier to grasp and the flow just works.
