This is the perfect introduction to Swedenborg. It deals with almost all the main points discussed in the three Swedenborg masterpieces: Heaven and Hell, Divine Providence, and Divine Love and Wisdom. The introduction by Larsen a Swedenborg scholar is very good, and the translation by George Dole from the Latin is most readable. The editing of the work The "Universal Human" which forms the major part of this text is very well done.
"Body and Soul interactions" is a good introduction to the workings of the spiritual world. Highly recommended. Essential first reading for anyone interested in Swedenborg. |
