hilariously funny,

This review is from: The Embarrassed Evangelist (Paperback)
Oh I was snickering through this whole book. It was pretty funny-- more than pretty funny. It was hilariously funny. This work of fiction contained a lot of realness in it and I could relate to the embarrassed evangelist a lot. She puts herself out there -- yet doesn't know where to begin or start so she prays and fumbles her way through it, often the way I feel when I'm trying to ... wanting to let others know about Jesus.
Rouxel touches on life for all it's craziness and brutality and made me laugh over and over again. I almost wondered if this really was a work of fiction because I sure could relate a lot of this woman! If you're looking for a really good laugh through honesty and God-seeking. Rouxel covers a lot of topics that are touchy and yet she sheds some good light on them that I think are the way God calls us to deal with them -- embracing Jesus and holding on for dear life! Thanks to Greg from Revival Nation for sending me a review copy! |
