I bought this bag b/c I wanted a nice simple black backpack purse. It is cheap so I was curious about what to expect. Have low expectations.It looks cheap. The picture online shows a sturdy looking nice leather. It is very sloppily sewn together and the leather in the different areas don't match. It looks much thinner than the picture. Also, when you wear it like a backpack it hangs down REALLY low(like on your behind) and flops around. I'd say - shop around.

I bought this Sling despite the previous review because it fit our needs and was reasonable. If it turned out to be that bad, nothing much was lost. However, we were pleasantly surprised when ours arrived. There are no apparent defects, it looks good and with a little adjustment on the strap, carries well.

Bag is a handy size. And easy to organize. Strap is a little too wide to work well as a sholder bag.

This backpack purse arrived with a zipper that wouldn't zip. So after paying the $7 in shipping to get an unusable product, I had to pay another $9 to ship it back to get my original backpack cost of $15 back. All in all, I'm out $16 for something I no longer have. It seems like you shouldn't have to pay for shipping on a defective product.

this bag is very well designed and is high quality workmanship and leather, soft as butter. one can wear it as is, or you can unzip the shoulder strap and use it as a backpack!

I bought this purse because I love the style of using it over the shoulder or as a backpack. I had other purses that fit this description and loved them. When I first got this purse, I was surprised at the thinness of the material, but thought it would be okay. I loved it until the zipper pull began to break under normal use and finally the entire zipper broke. It's only April! This purse did not even last 6 months- or for that matter not even 3 months. I am very disappointed!

This bag smelled like mold when I got it. I sent it back because I couldn't air it out. I hope they don't charge me shipping for a bag that I couldn't use because of the smell!

I wanted a leather backpack, and I saw the picture, and thought why not? I received 2 other backpacks for Christmas that where designer, and did not like them at all. I love the one I purchased myself. It is soft and the base opens out like I needed it too. Just great!!!

The bag was cute and held everything I needed it to. I had it for about two week when both straps broke. I have had bags for more than two years that are fine but this one did not last two weeks. I was so dissapointed.

Some kind of mold or mildew is growing on this purse. The smell was so strong when I opened the package that I had to put it outside.

I contacted the seller - they didn't want to help at all. They told me to contact Amazon.

I had the item outside for several days but it still stinks pretty badly. It has a musky, moldy smell, as if it had been in storage for 20 years in a dank basement.

It is unusable.
