I had been looking for something that I could use to carry all my papers, note books, and etc. that would be practicle but also stylish at the same time. Well this briefcase fits the bill. There's plenty of space and compartments which makes it easy to find everything. I would highly recommend this briefcase.

Beautiful briefcase. It is a little heavier than advertised, but it is a really handsome, very professional looking bag.

I was looking for a new briefcase for everyday use that was inexpensive yet professional looking. The case is made out of soft leather and is just the right size, i.e. not too wide. I didn't want too wide a case because I don't always carry by laptop with me. Although, it has a center pocket which perfectly fits my 13" MacBook Pro. The pocket is just big enough for my mac and provides good protection. I recommend this briefcase very highly, for the price it is a real value.

The bag is very roomy and the leather, although it is patchwork, is quite soft. The problem is that I got it particularly because it has a shoulder strap. The strap itself is fine, but the anchors on the bag tear and then the strap is usless as the anchors can not be repaired. Great bag if you take the strap off and don't use it.

I bought this for my husband at Christmas. By mid January, the strips of leather that hold the strap broke. Not happy.

This is a very nice portfolio case, especially considering that I got it on special. It is very roomy and the width (16 inches) will accomodate legal sized papers. It looks like something that a business person could carry proudly.

Mine arrived with a couple of white lines showing on the leather. They may have come from the shipping materials but I'm not sure. I touched them up with a black marker and that did the trick.

I wanted a leather briefcase/shoulder bag mostly for carrying papers. I have never put too much in the bag nor has it been too heavy. But after receiving the bag as a gift, the shoulder strap broke after 2 uses. I thought it was just a defective bag and had it replaced quickly. However, a month later, the same thing happened with the second bag. I am disappointed in the quality of the briefcase and do not recommend this bag if you plan to use the shoulder carrying strap at all. Now all I can get is an exchange, which I don't want. I guess it's too cheap to be good. Save your money and go for better quality.

This brief case looks great, has nice compartments, and the leather finish is impressive. Unfortunately, it cannot hold the mid-size files and significant amounts of paper that I have to work with every day. On the front and back corners of the brief case, there is a leather loop sewn into the brief case. The loops hold the metal ring on each corner that the strap is fastened to. Last week, while carrying the brief case across my body, one leather loop broke, and the other loop is well on its way to breaking off. This brief case is now useless to me, except as a warning to always check out a brief case for yourself in person before you buy it.

I would love the bag, but it came with such a harsh chemically treated smell that I can't even keep in my house...it's sitting in my garage airing out. I have a good sized house and this bag stunk up the whole place....If it airs out I am sure I will enjoy...

I loved this bag, style, soft leather and the price was great. However the strap only lasted 2 months. I carried my work laptop and papers in it everyday for approximately 2 months and one day getting off the train the strap broke. Although, it is still usable if carried with the handles. It's definitely a great bag for papers and ipad/netbook. (lightweight items).

I still love the bag and if the strap didn't break I would have rated it a 5 star.
