No, not *that* Wally Wood,

This review is from: The Embedded Internet: The Final Evolution (Paperback)
Just a note of clarification: the Wally Wood who wrote this book and did the paranoid video in 1999 about the Internet as Mark of the Beast is not the Wallace (Wally) Wood who was a renowned satirical cartoonist for Mad Magazine and many other publications, and who sadly took his life in 1981. All the adjunctive ads for Bud Plant graphic arts and other related products are for the *other* Wally Wood, the intentionally funny one, and are on this page by mistake.

A "must read" for the impending digital economy,

This review is from: The Embedded Internet: The Final Evolution (Paperback)
This is the first book I have found that lays all the documentation on the line concerning ubiquitous computing and the Internet. I found it to be a most interesting glimpse into the future of the Internet and the granular level of control that waits for us there. Are we headed for a digital economy? Is technology working for us, or slowly laying the groundwork for invasion of privacy and loss of freedom? I strongly recommend this book if you're interested in these types of questions.
