The book contains the written form of lectures given at ETH Zurich in an Advanced Course on New Approaches to the Architecture and the Design of Embedded Systems. It is extremely well organized, following a logic order, and increasing the level page after page. It is an essential reading for anyone interested in this field, from the novice to the researcher.
