Yes, this is a smooth & easy listening CD. But to only play it as background music would be doing it and yourself a serious disservice. The words and melodies are intricate and at times, heartbreaking. David's voice is perfect for his songs, and the musical arrangements are fantastic as well. The more I listen to this CD, the more I enjoy it.

I love this CD. I love David's voice... sexy and pleasing to the ear. I agree, artistically crafted w/perfect blend of vocals, melodies, piano, guitar, SAX <personal favorite>.... This is a FUN and easy listening music experience. DO IT AGAIN, DAVID
