This book is about others who are reaching for their dreams. Donna comes from a musical background. Her Grandparents were opera singers. While her mother a singer and piano teacher.
Donna is a survivor of childhood abuse and substance abuse. Being a alcoholic herself she turned her life around to God, and has twenty two years of continous sobriety. With two grown children and four grandchildren, Donna is grateful for the gift to write poetry. As a young child she she would sing songs, and made up poems for hours on end. Donna enjoys inspiring her students with her poetry, and bring out the very best in them.
Donna has a BS in Human Service and a Certification in Special Education. She teachers GED to Substance Abusers. She is a Poetry Ambassador and has won six Editor's Choice Awards, and is also published in seven Anthology books.
Donna's second book; "Coming Home to My Heart; is extremely powerful and inspirational, written in verse and prose. It includes stories of child abuse,and domestic violence abuse, with educational and spiritual insight for prevention of abuse, and forgiveness for peace of mind. Along with love poems, family, faith, hope, encouragement and empowerment enabling others to come home to their heart.

Embrace The Light; a women's story through poetry to touch your heart
This book is a rollercoaster of emotions. It tells the story of one woman's life. This story tells of experience, strength, and hope, especially hope. This book will inspire any one ready, to see their life with different eyes. The energy of positive thought and deed is truly powerful.The author's outlook on life to have faith in God, to reach out to others, and love unconditionally are a recipe for a happy life.

The poems in this book touch the heart and uplift your soul. Many of us have had experiences similar to the author's writings as she takes us through a glimpse of her life. This book is truly moving, and filled with motivating verses to enchant your mind, and free your spirit.

I recommend you purchase this book, and you will be inspired as I was reading it over and over.

A book from the heart thru life experiences from day to day through interactions from poetry that catches you from their life interactions and feelings. A real thought out process I hope you enjoy this as much as I did I smiled and cried with this Author she is a genius. I have some connections with her in her readings. We can all learn some life lessons thru poetry and give back some knowledge and wisdom loving and sense of understanding of life's lessons through peotry and give back to our student's to learn the poetry gift of writing.

So take my advice and read her book it was a really profound and lovely to read. So buy the book and enjoy!
