5.0 out of 5 stars A wonderful resource for Women at mid-life
As the Husband of a Woman who went through Mid-life:

The book helped me understand a little of what my wife needed.

But where the book really paid of - was when my wife read it. Since it was my wife experiencing the mid-life transition it made allot more sense to her and helped her through a very difficult time.

There are too many books...

2.0 out of 5 stars A little too preachy
The book wasn't bad until I got to the chapter about GOD. I was so put off by the authors repeated references toward God. She just went off about God and how we had to believe in God in order for our lives to get any better. I immediately lost any and all interest in finishing the book.

There are too many books that explain what is happening in your life - it's good to see a book that helps you get through what is happening in a very practical way.

Wonderful book.

I have not read the book in its entirety, however, hit me right where I was ( am now growing and not paralyzed-not literally- anymore) and I am passing it on to others that seem ready to explore. Great resource!
