Large patterns for Blackwork, Trapunto, Silk Ribbon Embroidery, Stumpwork, Goldwork. Alphabets with flowers, fruit, Birds, Celtic,Oriental Embroidery. Large Frames for picture,or insert own ideas. Great all round book, worth every cent!!

I purchased this book looking for some different patterns for embroidery.
This is a great book for various designs - everything from Celtic and Art Deco to Asian themed and Holiday motifs. The designs are dark so they are easy to trace or copy. The only drawback to me is some of them are too large to be "practical" applications for embroidery. They would be better suited as framed embroidery prints. Overall, I really like this book and refer to it everytime I begin a project.

It is exactly what I was looking for! It has a lot of different patters and nothing else. I found it to be very useful and inspiring.
