Blackwork essential,

Pat Langford was an enormously creative and innovative embroiderer. If you are interested in using Blackwork in a classic or modern work then this book is excellent. Pat teaches your eye to look at the shaded areas of a scene rather than the normal highlighted areas. If you are looking at sketch to embroidery work then this book is essential reading.
