Product Description

Inversion tables have been a proven therapy that is recommended by physicians to alleviate back pain, increase flexibility, and improve joint health simply by using it for minutes every day. When inverting, the force of gravity counteracts compressions and decompresses the spine which assists to realign and rehydrate discs. Another advantage of using a inversion table is that it relaxes tense muscles and reduces nerve pressure mainly concentrating on the back, neck, and hips. Additional benefit of using inversion therapy is improved shock absorption and ligament strength for hips, knees, and ankles. Through inverted exercises it is also a great way to tone and develop core muscles leading to more flexibility and better performance. Built with a steel tubular frame the Emer EE-INVR-09 is durable and can support users up to 300 pounds and is also foldable for space saving and storage in mind. With the innovative design it offers a full 180 degree inversion and with the upgraded easy ankle lock and release system it allows the user to lock and release the ankle locks with ease and prevents further injuries. The durable ABS plastic backboard is contoured to limit body slide.

This is just what I was looking for. A modern looking inversion table, as the only place I can put it is in my living room! I have been using it 2-4 times per day for 30sec-1min each time and my muscle spasms have nearly disappeared! So happy with my decision to purchase. My husband put it together in under an hour. My only concern is that it doesn't have a pin/bolt locking mechanism in the lever area, down below in the gears that hold my feet. I put a pin in there that I bought separately, just in case the part that holding my feet ever gives way... safety first. The only inversion table I could find online that comes with a locking pin in that area was the "Teeter" brand, but it is way too $$$expensive$$$. My pin/bolt trick work fine, I just take it in and out as I get on and off the table. I have it hanging from a little rope where I can easily get to it. It just brings me extra confidence that the machine wont;let go of me; when I go upside down. I only go to 45-60 degree angle. I would highly recommend this inversion table! Don't wait any longer with nagging back spasms. I waited 6 months too long and wished I had gotten it right away.

All inverson tables act on the same principle, a `table` that tilts downward while you lie on it. This is a basic unit which does the job and is fairly easy to assemble but make sure all nuts are tightened fully. If doing a full inverson make sure you have a partner to help you get upright ,not everyones abdominal muscles are stong enough for you to invert alone fully and return back up. There are handles to hold on to that helps RETURNING BACK UP with a partial inverson which experts say that is all thats needed. I weigh 250lbs and it supports me well. There is a saftey strap, preventing the table from going into a full upside down ( inverson) position. Once you get used to it its vey easy to use.And it easily folds and slides on the floor ( i have it on a rug) to move out of the way. I looked at several units and this was the best for the price.

it was easy to assemble and as soon i got it put together i was using it and it relieved so much back tension and re-aligned my spine and neck in just a few sessions. it is a great stress reliever and helps me relax my neck and jaw by hanging upside down.

The bad
- instructions are lousy

The good
-The long handle on the ratcheting foot holder is a great feature
-the ankle pads are very good. I can use it comfortably without any shoes or socks
-it works - my back felt much better in only three days
-hardware comes in a blister card so it's easy to identify what's what
-The price can't be beat

Additional comments
I wish I had bought an inversion table years ago. I'm amazed at how great my back Feels after just a couple days use. When you first set it up, don't overdue it. Hang at a slight incline - 20°-30° past horizontal for just 20-30 seconds. Do it again in a few hours. Then try more aggressive angles and slightly longer hang times. The first time I used it, I hung for almost two minutes almost completely vertical and was worried afterwards that I hurt my back and made it worse. Wife suggested the next day to try it again, for just a quick, gentle stretch, and immediately afterwards, I felt better. Lesson is: less is more with these things. Take it easy and learn to love it. I do - I'm sold on this thing.

I actually prefer this design to the more expensive products - the fit and finish is quite good, and the way the ankle release works is an excellent design.

----UPDATE----
After owning this for one month, still delighted. I use it once or twice a day for about 10 seconds and I always feel fantastic afterwards. Yes, I can actually tell a difference before & after. Hanging for a longer period of time doesn't seem to bring me any additional help. It's like, once you get the stretch, it's done - I've gotten all the benefit I'm going to get and I feel great.

I looked at buying one of these for a few months, finally bought this one and let me tell you it didn't disappoint. It's very sturdy, my brother uses it and he is almost 275lbs. The part you lock your ankles in with is great, just pull it to where it is comfortable and you are not going anywhere! Yea, your ankles might hurt a tad as some people say, but remember you are supporting your body weight with them! Also, when you flip upside down, I at no time feel like it'll tip or move. It isn't that hard to put together if you have your own tools, just a few wrenches needed. The ABS plastic is easy to clean and I think much nicer than having a cushion. All and all, I would recommend this one to anyone. It was worth it, and oh, my back feels much better. I'll do this a few minutes morning and night from now on.

No need to spend more money on pricier models. Use your own tools to put together, though. It works as expected. No problems.

I use the inversion table for my back therapy. My old inversion table broke after many years of use. I received the new one in less than a week. I was concern about how light it was, compared to my old one big and bulky. I have used it daily and I am very please.
