Editorial Reviews

Emerald Forest Rhythms is a mix of rock, jazz, easy listening and new age instrumental music inspired by the earth magic of the Pacific Northwest featuring the lead guitar and keyboard work of composer Edward Jenny.

A composer and performer who plays any and all instruments he can get his hands on, Edward Jenny has a musical career spanning decades and including work all over the United States and Canada in bands such as Acid Sette, The Truth, Unknowns, Spur, Touch, Edward Jenny Band, Voyager, Dirk Anger and more, and studio work for a wide variety of artists, as well as opening for most of the major Billboard Top 100 musical groups of the 60s.

Since then, Edward has performed and recorded his original music to the delight of old fans and new. His original music takes many forms and captures the attention of a wide audience around the world.

After taking time away from recording to pursue his alternate career, Edward is back in the studio again recording albums worth of new materials stored up in his musical imagination.

Emerald Forest Rhythms marks his return to the global music scene with this easy listening blend of rock, jazz and new age instrumental music created to capture the magical experience of living in the woods in the Pacific Northwest. Each song tells a story of an experience in the woods, at the ocean and the lakes, and in the rain, snow and sun of the magnificent part of the planet that Edward calls home.

Edward's music is available at and other retail music outlets online, and at his website at

Great music. Soothing and promotes relaxation and a calm spirit. Nice sounds for background or main focus. Really creative and diverse sounds in one CD. Something to renew the soul and spirit.

5.0 out of 5 stars A gem of a CD May 16, 2013
Format:Audio CD
I work with Ed, so he was kind of enough to allow me to preview the new disc, and I loved it.. I'm not a musician, but as Ed knows, I'm a big blues and jazz fan, and I told him that track two (if I recall) was very reminiscent of Chick Corea's signature sound.. and Chick is one of my favorites.. buy this album, you won't be disappointed
