This book has proved to be an invaluable tool, two classics in one. This does not sugar coat or interpret the Emerald Tablet for you, but presents multiple translations,frommultiple cultures, so you can feel the depth of this simple text yourself. The Kybalion goes a little deeper on the philosophy, with a New Thought twist.

To come across this book is like receiving a gift from heaven. Long held questions about the laws of the universe are being answered. The text has changed the way I look at myself in relationship to everything around me.

Excellent book! gives insight to ideas that influence our world greatly today. many of these techniques have carried on through other inovators but been dulled down, but we will surely cherish this book and use it as a resource as this is surely the true seed of these ideas.

This book truly gives the reader a rational relationship between self and the creator(God) simply put. It also goes on to reveal the true nature and power of the mind. True ancient knowledge of self without a "Shakespearean twist". This should be a required read for everyone.

This book has cleared up much as far as explaining certain question I have had. I found The Kybalion to be well written and well explained as to what is meant by the laws. I would highly recommend it to those interested in these types of studies as not only a foundational primer for future research but as beneficial to serious students on it's own. I wouldn't consider it completely comprehensive however but for the most part to a high degree find it's timeless information resourceful. There are but few iota's mentioned therein that are beyond the range of the book and the understanding of the authors but they are really very few in general. I do appreciate that the two books come together and complement one another well. Best.

Excellent editing of classical texts. A must for the beginning alchemist, or anyone who has a desire to learn about the old art.

TO ME, EXCELLENT!!!. I FOUND WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR..., I BOUGHT OTHER MANY BOOKS, A WASTE OF MONEY.

I had previously read a borrowed copy of the kybalion, where they spoke on the principles of hermetic philosophy, and it inspired me to get my own copy. The emerald tablet was just icing on the cake for me, this book has much light for readers seeking truth. I do wish it had, practical instruction for use of the hermetic principles and mental transmutation, but I suppose as I keep seeking I'll find that as well. This is a good starting point for the mental alchemist we all are.

All this is is a good book taken from the public domain. The same contents in this book are available in many books.

Overall, I enjoyed the book, but there has to be a better version out there somewhere. There were lots of typos that really annoyed me. I will keep the book. It does make a nice, simple reference.

I will agree with a previous commenter who recommends reading (or listening to) Michael Tsarion on subjects such as these. He is the best and most informative speaker/writer I know out there in this area and quite a few other areas.
