To say nothing of the band's sublime live performances, this is simply the best single of the year. Quite possibly the "Never Mind the Bullocks" of the Electroclash scene, we should all join hands and pray for the album's domestic release. In the meantime, put this on the stereo; play at high volume; repeat as necessary.

Fischer Spooner I first saw on spring break last year (at the 9:30 club in D.C.), I never heard their music before (the unique mixture that somewhat reminds me of 80's stuff), I got me hooked instantly. Right then and there I had to buy their CD and I got one of the last few!

If you love electronica with 80's pop sensibility, no, make that giddy 80's enthusiasm, then you must try Fischerspooner. I saw their show at the Standard in LA earlier this year and was blown away by their performance-art spectacle. Emerge is just one of several catchy songs from their self titled album. Buy this, and if you can find the album, buy it too. You WONT be disappointed.

on this cd fischerspooner prove that electronic music can have a soul. the female vocals are hauntingly beautiful. it really rocks too!

fischerspooner are the new in thing, emerge sounds like a lemmings theme tune matched in with stunning vocals and computerised dance beats, so glam, so very now.
