All cables tried have worked - its nice to have one for many - wish it had firewire covered too, otherwise good... Oh, and the slinky bag does not close securely easily to keep the end pieces in, so I moved mine to a trusty ziploc.

I work on computers a lot. So, I carry much stuff with me where ever I go. This set is very well made, covers most of the cables ever needed, and takes up very little space. I would highly recommend this kit to anyone who travels and uses a computer. It is well worth the price.

Actually there is not much to tell, so far I have used just about all the cable options included in the kit and they all have worked perfectly; One of my external USB hard drives seemed to be having problems connecting to my pc, after a detailed checking and testing procedure I determined it was the usb cable that came with the unit, after receiving this cable kit the first thing I did was test my drive with the new USB cable and I'm happy to report that the drive worked perfectly with the new cable.I do find the cables to be a little thin, but besides that they look well built and the connectors seem rugged enough. The do come with a black fabric bag (nothing too fancy or rugged) where you can store your cables (large enough to store other USB cables that you may have)and it does work well for this, just make sure to pull the strings tightly so the bag closes completely then do a shoelace knot to make sure the bag stays closed. Like I mentioned in the beginning, so far the cables have worked really well...I have some external USB hard drive cases that I use to insert my old SATA and IDE drives so they can be used instead oh having them laying on a shelf gathering dust, most of the cases are inexpensive plastic enclosures, so the construction and the cables that they come with are not first class; my main computer is a bit touchy when it comes to connecting USB devices with cheap USB cables, but so far I have not had any problems when I connect these devices using the cables that came in the kit so to me, this is the best test I can do in order to find out if these cables are good nor not. Thanks to this kit I now have all my USB connections covered, no matter what kind of USB connector your device uses, this kit will have you covered (Mobile phones, Blackberries, Iphones/Ipods, USB drives, USB to RJ-45, USB to phone line, digital cameras, etc).It also comes with 2 USb cables (one shorter than the other) which you can use as two separate cables or use the included USB adapter to make one longer cable.
