Book Description

May 27, 2007
The mysterious entity of the initial Emergence novel reappears in the deep hydrothermal vent areas of the Pacific Ocean. Rather than merely explore the reality of the surface world, the entity chooses to adventure into our reality. Research in origins of life, geology and Super String Theory merge to produce an intense tale of scientific inquiry that questions our most sacred assumptions and beliefs.

5.0 out of 5 stars another outstanding novel, June 16, 2007
This review is from: Emergence 2 (Paperback)
Justice Hawk has hit another home run with Emergence 2. he makes every reader think of the many possibilities of this complex world, some are facts as we know of them and others we just think of them as fiction. Justice Hawk takes the fiction part and makes you realize that it just might be the real facts. This is a must read for anyone that has read Emergence.

4.0 out of 5 stars What is Life?, July 6, 2008
This review is from: Emergence 2 (Paperback)
Justice Hawk has written another very interesting novel!

The story was paced well, as researchers attempted to find out about a life form which threatens to annihilate all the humans on earth.

The novel introduces the reader to fascinating scientific theories and applies them to the storyline. The book is full of suspense, as the drama of the emergence of the life form gets is elucidated.

Throughout the book, Justice Hawk skillfully uses dialogue between scientists to educate the reader about topics such as Super String Theory,DNA and other subjects.

The reader is drawn into the intense dialogue between the scientists as they race against time to find out what they are dealing with, and what the entity's intention is.

The context is the bureacracy of the Japanese government. This context provides a stable structure for the plot to develop.

One can wonder at the end of the novel, what, really, is life?

5.0 out of 5 stars Emergence 2 keeps you on the edge with its very interesting perspective, August 21, 2007
This review is from: Emergence 2 (Paperback)
A great read, especially if you have read Emergence. It takes the next step in a process that suggests that perhaps we have some different life forms on earth watching and waiting to take some not so friendly action on the human race and planet earth. Very exciting and very plausible ideas about this theory are set forth in this book. I found myself pondering all sorts of possibilities as I read the book. I have read Emergence and this was a great second book based on that first publication. I found the story line to be very exciting and full of suspenseful scenarios. I would recommend this book to one and all. I could not put it down once I got into it.
