I found this workbook very helpful in preparing for my course exams. It consists of matching, multiple-choice, and short-answer questions for each chapter in the corresponding textbook. I do agree with a previous reviewer that there are some inaccuracies in the questions/answers, but in my experience some problems in this regard are almost always present with this kind of workbook. My main complaint is that sometimes the answers weren't in the book or contradicted the book. But that was a rarity. Overall, I'd buy this workbook if you're using its companion text. It will almost certainly help you. And yes, I passed my national exam the first time out. Good luck to you!

This workbook, along with the textbook, offer a great educational opportunity for the EMT-B examination. The workbook is a little more expensive then others but was part of the curriculum at the Fire and Rescue Academy I went to.

I return this item. It did not appear clearly that was the WORKBOOK. It should appear in big bold letters. A lot of people in my class got this workbook by mistake.The cover is the same as the textbook. Overall, I had no problem returning and Amazon did a great job in a quick refund.

I would do the reading and assigned homework (not from the workbook) for class, and then use the workbook as a pre-exam before our weekly tests. It asks the material in different ways which allows you to reinforce concepts and terms you're reading about. The practice "interim exams" were also very good for review, and I plan on using them again before our final. If you're the type of student that could benefit from having additional and study aids, then you should get this workbook.

Just a note: It is rumored that the DOT will be changing some requirements over the summer and this book (and the text) may be replaced by a newer edition (12E).

I have enjoyed this book. I have learned much from it. The pictures and diagrams are helpful, and the information complete. The book is user friendly.

This is for my son's EMT course materials. It is required for the course, and is excellent for its purpose. Hopefully, it will help him in his future.

Great book, it was required for school, but it's a great tool with super helpful practice exams; the practice exams alone got my the 90% in the class. Also, for the main book, the hardback is worth the extra $10. By the end of class, everyone's book looked VERY used. My book looks brand new. To me, that's a huge plus. If you take pride in keeping your things looking nice, the hardback is worth the extra $$

I didn't realize that I had ordered the wrong thing. The Seller was prompt in her response in informing me that I could return this item and she would refund in full the cost. Received workbook in better than expected condition within a few days of my ordering. Turned out I did not want the book some time later and the seller had no problem taking it back for full refund. Great communicator and satisfier of customer needs.
