Good start to build EMT knowledge base,

This review is from: Emergency Response (Paperback)
This book is very good for learning the basic skills required to become a First Responder. It has sparked my interest in the field of Medicine. It isn't a book to be read without having an instructor to guide you through it. This book will help you get certified in CPR as well as aquiring ARC certification.

This is a great study aid, or even to keep around the house! I needed to take a test to apply for the EMT course at a local college, and passed with 90%! I would have bombed with out this book, and you cant beat the used price!

I read this book from cover to cover to study for an EMT pre-test.
Well structured, very detailed and serves it purpose - I learned a lot. I took a star off because the CPR is not up to date. Check with the American Red Cross or an EMT/nurse/doctor to get the most up to date CPR guidelines. I also bought the workbook that goes with theis text. Very helpful as well.
