Behind the scences; a spine tinging look at the E.R.!,
By Jessica Byrd (Kentucky, U.S.A.) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Emergency Room (Point) (Mass Market Paperback)
Exciting, extreme, death defying all in one. The book, Emergency Room, is a deep thriller every person could enjoy. Inside the E.R., author Caroline B. Cooney takes us to inchatment once again. Posing her work, she uses two college freshman as volunteers at a city hospital E.R. As an exciting event happens, like the 1st was a gunshot whom, the next ones beats it all to pieces. In this book, there's romance, humor, and defentily intensity. Drug addicts are being shot, babies are being stolen, and automible accidents are scraping people up with the blacktop. Each encounter will have you thriving for more. I recommend this book to each and every person who likes to be thrilled and to all you Caroline B. cooney fans, she certainly didn't let us down with this one.

Interesting ER Fiction,

This review is from: Emergency Room (Point) (Mass Market Paperback)
Eighteen-year-old City Hospital volunteers Seth and Diana have dreams of being emergency room doctors. Helping people who are hurt, and need someone to mend them. But first they have to get through a night of emergencies that will change their lives forever as they know it. At 6:00pm, Seth and Diana show up at City Hospital, eager for their one chance to save lives. By 6:30pm, an eighteen-year-old female named Jersey has arrived, complete with a gunshot wound, the victim of a drug battle. At 7:00pm a seventeen-year-old boy named Alec arrives, brought in after a grisly motorcycle accident, in which he was wearing no helmet. By 8:30pm, Seth is saving the life of a baby. All this and more happens daily at City Hospital, but volunteers Seth and Diana only get to experience the excitement once a week.Having been on a huge ER reading kick lately, I was absolutely ecstatic to find that famed author Caroline B. Cooney had written a book entitled EMERGENCY ROOM. From page one, EMERGENCY ROOM takes you on an exhilirating adventure that you will never forget. From gunshot wounds, to accidents, and more, EMERGENCY ROOM delivers it all. Fans of ER fiction, whether for teens or adults will relish in Cooney's EMERGENCY ROOM, and find themselves begging to read more about Seth and Diana's adventures. Sadly, there are no more as of yet, but we can keep our fingers crossed. An absolute must-have! Don't miss EMERGENCY ROOM. Erika Sorocco

Great Book,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Emergency Room (Point) (Mass Market Paperback)
This is a very powerful story about life in an E. R. The book shows the feelings and problems of the staff, the wounded, and the families waiting. The author writes the very essence of the difficult things one must do in such situations. This is the best work yet.
