Samantha Carter writes about the tribulations of being single in a world where "buy one, get one free" is the norm. This is a fast paced read with a very contemporary feel. Jenny Forrest and Ken Parks rocket from one social date to another and neither is able to figure out how to make the transition from emergency stand-by to the real thing. No babies, no cowboys, and no runaway brides. But Carter still tells a fascinating story about two people who are right for each other, even though neither of them is willing to believe it. Way to go, Samantha Carter. |
