The book starts with an introduction to the Technological Life cycle and then goes into Emerging Technologies which are divided in three parts: Decision supporting technologies, Cooperation facilitating technologies, and Infrastructure enabling technologies. The examples and figures with the chapters make it easy to understand the technological emergence and relate it to real world.
