This book is full of various women's accounts of South Asian identity as a female. I found the different accounts to be diverse yet connected through some common threads and themes. Great for complementing your own research.

Emerging voices provided a glimpse into the experience and voice of the second generation of Asian Indian women. Each chapter introduced us to views and beliefs that challenged the stereotypes we see elsewhere. This book was an excellent update to perspectives on the matters that impact women every day: marriage, dating, divorce, remarriage.
