Emeril Stainless 12" Nonstick Fry pan

Amazon.com

Celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse kicks it up another notch with the stainless-steel cookware collection, following the success of his nonstick collection. Bam! This 12-inch fry pan is a lustrous example of the stainless-steel collection, which is made by renowned cookware manufacturer All-Clad. Its heavy-gauge, 18/10 stainless steel is polished to a mirror finish outside and blessed with a satin finish inside to conceal utensil marks. To distribute heat uniformly and maintain it, there's a thick aluminum disk on the bottom covered in stainless steel so the pan works on any stovetop, including induction. For elegance, the disk's edge is clad in copper.

Displaying Emeril's signature, the pan's cast-stainless-steel handle is riveted for strength and has a thumb rest for comfort. In addition, the handle stays cool on the stovetop but won't be harmed by an oven's highest heat. The pan's lip flares to facilitate dripless pouring. Although Emerilware Stainless cookware is dishwasher-safe, hand washing is recommended. The 12-inch fry pan carries a lifetime warranty against defects. --Fred Brack

I would highly recommend, especially if you are looking for a pan with quality and style!

The non-stick is enough, no butter or oil needed even for eggs.

This is a really good looking Fry pan that works great. It may be designed in the USA but the box says made in PRC. I guess that is China so although it is a well made item it is not the exact same pan as the All Clad stuff made in Pennsylvania USA. I will spend the extra dollars and get the real American made All Clad when I order more cookware.

I have this pan for about 2 months and am amazed at how little cleaning needs to be done. It cooks very evenly. For me, it's as good as a pan can be. A follow up: The pan wore out a couple of months after my review. The pan turned out to be terrible. I am sorry if anyone bought this pan after my review. I cant change the star rating but if I could, I would give it 2 stars.

My wife and I have Emerilware stainless steel cookware. For the stainless steel cookware, they do require more oil in order for foods to not stick to the bottom of the pan. I came across this pan when looking at the Emerilware websight.
Unfortunately, you can't find these pans which are stainless steel with a non-stick cooking surface in stores, so I ordered this item through Amazon and have been more than happy with the investment.
Food has been lighter tasting because less oil is necessary for cooking, and cleaning these pans are a snap!
I would highly recommend, especially if you are looking for a pan with quality and style!

This pan is fabulous. We have an entire line of All Clad and the Emeril pans are better. Don't ever use Pam with these pans or you'll ruin them. The non-stick is enough, no butter or oil needed even for eggs. I'd highly recommend this pan.

Got this as a gift and am sorry that I asked for it. I used this once, over low heat, and noticed that there were some spots on my brand new flat top electric range. When I turned over my pan after cleaning it, it had already rusted!! Apparently the stainless on the bottom had rusted while in use, and has marred my cooktop. No word from the All-Clad folks, and I found ranting customers on other websites about the same thing (rusting) plus a huge amount of other problems like the bottom falling off from the copper, the pan actually melting, and other horrific accidents that gratefully, and by sheer luck, did not hurt anyone. This stuff is junk! Pay the extra money for real quality. Thanks for nothin', Emeril - BAM!
