Product Description

Amazon.com Review

Bearing the signature of celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse, this teakettle holds 2-1/2 quarts of water and whistles when the water boils. Appropriately, the plastic whistle forms Emeril's all-purpose expression Bam! And the teakettle's plastic knob is shaped like a tall chef's hat. Whimsy aside, the teakettle is rugged and attractive. It's made of stainless steel and wears a black matte finish to complement Emerilware pots and pans. Lid and spout are highly polished for contemporary accents. --Fred Brack

Product Description

Emerilware is the brand of gourmet cookware created by celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse with All-Clad Metalcrafters. In the words of Emeril, "To prepare great food, you gotta have great cookware and I know you'll kick your cooking up a notch with mine. For great gumbo, fine sauces, veggies or rack of lamb, there's only one cookware that makes me say BAM!" If you've become a devoted fan of Emeril's cookware, as well as his cooking, by all means treat yourself to the coordinating kettle.

Great design. Very good craftsmanship, except that the handle almost fell off after five months of use. Luckily there is a lifetime warranty!

I was a skeptic January 8, 2003
My wife recently bought the Emeril All Clad set pending my approval. She knows that I'm a stickler for quality and was resistant to get rid of the commercial grade cookware we bought 20 years ago. I own several All Clad pieces, but was skeptical when I saw Emeril's name on the set. My experience with celebrity chef cookware is that they are of lesser quality than the standard lines. It became clear as soon as we unpacked this set that nothing could be further from the truth. If anything the handles on the Emerilware were more ergonomic than stardard All Clad cookware. The set is beautiful, robust and distributes heat wonderfully. It's very easy to clean and the non stick finish is high grade. For the price (came with pot rack)it can't be beat as a starter set, upgrade or replacement.

Prices vary September 23, 2003
I found the Emerilware teakettle on E-bay for $55.00. I still have not received the teakettle from Amazon.com and would like to either cancel my order,or get the teakettle at the E-bay rate. Thanks!
