This big, solid nonstick ladle bears the signature of celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse (Bam!) on a shiny stainless-steel plate inset into its handle, and it has all the quality and convenient design features you would expect from Emeril. It's safe for use with any cookware and won't harm a nonstick cooking surface. Contoured to fit the hand snugly, the handle is soft, nonslip rubber and has a hole in its end for hanging on a hook or peg. The big, 4-1/4-inch-wide head is oval so soups and broths can be poured out of either side without slopping. Heat-resistant to 400 degrees F so it won't melt, the ladle measures 14 inches long to keep your hands away from heat. For convenience, it's dishwasher-safe. --Fred Brack

This is high quality and is great for dipping soup, the size is just right for dipping out the big dumplings in my homemade chicken and dumplings!
