5.0 out of 5 stars The best little omelette pan
We've been on the Southbeach diet for a few months and I've been using this pan to cook omelettes for breakfast--I think it's the perfect little fry pan! Just the right size for a 2-3 egg omelette. Heavy, so it heats evenly. The handle is easy to grip, especially with the thumb indent. The rolled edge make sliding an omelette onto your plate and flipping it in half a...

1.0 out of 5 stars Went bad long before other brand pots
This pan looks and feels beautiful when new, but its surface went bad long before other brands of similar non-stick surfaces that I own. I paid a lot for it, thinking it would be better than others, not worse. Incredibly, it's to the point where I can't even float an egg in oil in it and cook it without it sticking like it's welded to the pan. How does this happen? (I've...

5.0 out of 5 stars The best little omelette pan, April 7, 2007
This review is from: Emerilware Hard Anodized 8-inch Non-Stick Fry Pan (Kitchen)
The rolled edge make sliding an omelette onto your plate and flipping it in half a no-brainer. And of course, the non-stick surface wipes out perfectly. I love it so much that I take it on vacation with me!

We have tried many different non-stick brands of cookware over the years, but the Emerilware hard anodized products are our favorites. They cook evenly and clean up is a breeze. Make sure you don't spray non-stick spray to the pan, as it will build up on the pan and damage it. Best to heat a teaspoon of olive oil in the pan if you feel you have to have something.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great pan!, September 5, 2010

I'm slowly upgrading my cookware and really need new fry pans. I have a hard-anodized chef pan, and really like the way they perform, so that was a *must* criteria, along with being ovenproof to 400'. I looked at lots, finally settling on this one. I was able to see this 'in person' in the 8" version - so I knew that this pan is well-balanced, beautifully finished and heavy enough to do the job, but not so heavy as to be hard to handle. It has a very nice ridge along the top side of the handle that adds to the comfort factor. It cooks evenly and cleans like a dream. My best friend, a professional chef, was so impressed that she bought one as well. I do wish it had a cover, but it hasn't been an issue yet.

a great buy at the price...the handles dont turn hot for a long time, so you dont really need to use silicon grips for the same. And the fry pan itself is perfection

5.0 out of 5 stars Great pan, great price., May 14, 2010

We've been using these for about a month now and they are working great. They heat evenly, cook quickly and nothing sticks, and they were so much less expensive than other pans with similar functionality.

I had the little 8in skillet now for about 2 years and love it. Iv'e been looking for the 10in in stores and have never found it until now. I'm new to Amazon and will definately be back. Great skillet-now I can throw away all my junky ones.

Incredibly, it's to the point where I can't even float an egg in oil in it and cook it without it sticking like it's welded to the pan. How does this happen? (I've only used plastic spatulas on it.) I've had it up to here with this designer-name piece of cookware, and a few minutes ago I finally just tossed it in the trash and came on here to report this poor performance. Your mileage may vary, but that was my experience.

Did not care for the pans. They were very light weight and felt cheap. We returned.
