Product Description

Lighted LED Sign Alerts You When Your Car Safely Reaches Just The Right Spot

Customer Reviews

So, by merely touch it the spring will bent too much, then the light weight base cannot hold the whole thing and the whole thing just fall down!

I was having trouble pulling my car into the garage far enough so the garge door closed and not too far that I would damage stuff in the back of the garage.

Very good product, very functional, if you look for not to hit your wall garage this is the product, it's what I was waiting for, so I recommend it.

Originally, I hung a tennis ball from a garage ceiling rope and positioned it exactly where my wife should stop the car upon contact with her windshield. She continued driving through the ball, bumping my lawn mower. I mentioned my frustration to my neighbor and he gifted me the Emerson flashing parking signal. I was sceptical at first, but it really works great, and my wife stops the car without plowing through the signal and hitting my mower. I've read the other reviews about some people saying the signal tips over. I'm a computer nerd and love to read assembly instructions. The base of the emerson signal has four swing-out stability feet that create an 'X' footprint. I can only imagine that people having stability issues are not making use of the four swing-out stability feet. The boxed instructions show a drawing of what the base should look like after assembly. Assembly is a snap. I had it out of the box and working in 15 minutes.
My wife rolled her eyes upon seeing the parking signal for the first time, but she hasn't bumped my lawn mower since. I think she secretly likes it. I know that my mower is happy !!!

These items are not quite what they seem. The idea is good, but there is a major design flaw; the base is too light and when the bumper of your car touches them, they bow backward with the springing action, then fall over. I try to approach them very, very slow, but they still fall over much of the time. I bought two, one of them doesn't flash. I'm not impressed, wouldn't recommend them.

As some of the other Reviewers here have already stated, these were purchased for my Wonderful Fantastic Wife so that she can more properly park either of our two vehicles within the garage.

Minor Con:
1) Added 4 small "Cube-shaped" brick pavers as weights upon the plastic "X" Base for MUCH better long term floor location stability.
2) Flasher lights seem to be ultra-sensitive; certain sound waves generated within the garage will trigger both of them flashing such as loud talking, and noises while using a hammer, power-drilling, power-grinding, power-sawing, the shop-vac, and when accidently "slamming" shut the garage's side-entry door.

Pro:
1) They FUNCTION VERY WELL for their basic intended purpose.
2) Relatively low priced.
3) The included coin cell-type batteries seem to be lasting a long time so far.

When I first set it up in the garage, I wasn't sure it would work that well. Now after a month of usage, both my wife and I think it's great. Pull in, nudge the sign and lights go on! Its fast and efficient.

I have a 2011 Toyota Van. A wide van inserted into a tight one car garage. I bought this cute little item to measure the front end perfectly for not squashing containers stored in garage while at the same time giving me space past a wall stud for opening my driver door giving the needed extra distance for getting comfortably out of my van. Gosh, the suffering we must endure, hey? Keep It Simple Stupid - KISS.

And it is the best, dumbest, handiest little product I have purchased in a long long while that I probably should have just made my own with a block of wood and an old fishing pole. I don't even use the top piece - the cute little stop sign part. If I had children, then I would. Nevertheless, just the plastic stick poking up in the air... touch it and you're parked.

I had ordered this from Sky Mall in November2010 as a Christmas Gift for my mother. It had been back ordered to March of 2011. Needless to say I did some shopping around and found it at Amazon. It works great, the box was damaged which concerned me a little bit. She loves it. Thank You Amazon for the connection.

Before getting this neat invention, we used a piece of 2x4, which worked as ling as it didn' get kicked out of the way. Now we have a very visible stop device that is far less likely to get moved inadvertently and lights up when you touched with the bumper.
