Emerson's CK5859 shower radio wakes you up better than a cold shower. The shower radio features an AM/FM radio with a slide rule tuning dial and rotary volume, band selection and tuning controls. Shower radio ha a digital clock with easy-to-set direct entry time setting, and will light-up automatically when any key is pressed. Keep yourself on time in the morning using the auto shutoff feature. The auto shutoff can be programmed to automatically turn off the radio from one to 99-minutes - which can be used to help time your shower for a specific period of time. The radio will play until the timer counts down to zero, after which an alarm will sound and the radio automatically turns off, reminding you to get out of the shower. You can manually turn the radio off using the reset button. The wide-range 2.25-inch Mylar speaker offers a loud, crisp sound and is splash resistant insuring that radio will remain protected from water. Purchased this radio as a replacement for another brand that broke. This radio w/timer gets very good reception. Old radio only got two stations from our basement bathroom. This radio has much better reception with more than 7 stations coming in well. Stand on back of radio is very convenient when wanting to continue listening after shower or moving to another room. Did take some getting use to having to use the Timer portion, but otherwise easy to use. I am very pleased with this radio, and would recommend it for the price!

This is the cheapest priced shower radio out there. It's dial was off by several numbers and the unit stopped working after about a month.

I took a risk, bad review and low price, and it turned out the bad reviews were correct.

I have purchased a Sony product now that works awesome...and is 3 times the price.

We bought this for my son who sometimes spends way too much time in the shower. He sets the timer and the music goes off when it's time to get out. The only problem that we have is that it does not get great reception in the house and he cannot hear his station of choice but has to listen to what's available.
