Only Lasts a Short Time,

I've bought 4 this year. Each last a couple of months before "breaking". 1 won't let you know when a call is coming (no ring). 1 won't connect at anything faster than 28.8 anymore. The other 2 give false rings and always disconnect you when it picks up a ring (false or not no matter if you only stay on for 5 seconds). Each used to work good in the beginning. Now they are junk. If you want to buy, buy from someplace with a good return policy and save your receipt - your going to need it.

I HAD A SWITCH BOARD SAME MODEL FOR 6 YRS OR SO AND EVERYTHING WORKED FINE I WAS ABLE TO FAX & RECEIVE AND MAKE CALLS ETC .UNTIL IT STOPPED WORKING
BUT THE NEW ONE I JUST BOUGHT DOESN'T RECEIVE OR SEND FAXES DON'T KNOW WHAT'S WRONG NONE OF THE LIGHTS WORK EXCEPT THE POWER BUTTON READ THE MANUAL FOLLOWED THE SETUP TROUBLE SHOOTING ETC IT DIDN'T HELP ORIGINAL WAS MUCH BETTER YOU WOULD THINK THERE WOULD BE IMPROVEMENTS I GUESS NOT

This is a manual switch which requires acton on your part to receive a fax. The quality is ok but the technology is old.
