When you download maps you must also download active sync. Then, it gets more complicated. We got into the car and it will not accept addresses - so we were told to remove everything from our computer and reinstall. If you are good with computers and GPS systems this may not be a problem. We like to go everywhere. And could not figure out how to work this. If you are not very good with technological things your best bet would be something with pre-loaded maps.
