This is quite an awesome set. I purchased for my 2 year old because she kept banging her toy pots together. I figured she would enjoy them, and certainly she did. She even has new words added to her vocabulary, (maracas, xylophone, tambourine etc). These instruments are simply, "OFF THE HOOK". Please, you have to buy this set! My daughter accidentally stepped on the tambourine one day and it popped. The construction is that of rice paper (not a good choice for making toys for toddlers). However, that is just a very minor complaint since it can still be used as a timbrel.

I got this for Chritmas for my two boys of two and three years old. They love to bang, fake play drums and guitars, listen to music and of course sing. The minute I opened the box they wanted to play with every instrument plus these toys teach fine motor skills by the movements and such. My two year went nuts for all the intruments, the three year old wasn't quite sure yet but after a while he was into it. He enjoyed singing. The set came with a pre loaded cd with was helpful, we we usually just freestyle :) Great buy. also the products or instruments are high quality.
